2010 Automated Election

The long wait is over for all the Filipinos who are eager to vote and longing for a better nation. It’s a remarkable event for all the Filipinos since this is the first time to have an automated election.

There’s an adage that says “early bird catches the worm.” Well, I’m so happy because I arrived early in the room where my name was posted and vote for my chosen candidates. I was so thankful since I don’t experienced waiting for so long.

I still wish to have a peaceful and clean election for this 2010. I wish that whoever wins this election she/ he will implement all his or her platform.

Keep on.. Keep trying

“Stand firm. Let nothing move you”
1 Co 15.58

Sometimes in my life I got to the point where I don’t want to try things out. I lose hope. I lose courage. I lose confidence. My life turned into pieces and I cannot make a good puzzle out of that pieces. My life seems so dry. I was withdrawn to all things and I don’t want to have a connection with the people whom I knew. Sometimes people judged me and that’s the most heart-breaking part. I guess that’s really a negative side of having no job.
But today, I am so thankful to God that all things change now. I still have the fear to try new things but I want to regain all the losses that I had. I want to give a try. Keep on. Keep trying!

Forgiving

I had read a passage in the bible that says “ As God's chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience. Bear with each other and forgive whatever grievances you may have against one another. Forgive as the Lord forgave you. And over all these virutes put on love which bind them all together in perfect unity – Colossians 3:12-24

FORGIVE. This word is so powerful but I guess it's hard to do especially if you are being hurt by the one you love. When I ponder the passage I couldn't stop my tears. I don't know why? I guess I was not totally heal with the hurt that I had with this person. I wish I could forgive and forget. I was really praying to God to heal me.

Inspiring Story

This story is dedicated to our dear teacher who’s sometimes unaware of their action that may bring a positive or a negative impact to the student's life. In addition, we should be mindful of our actions on how we deal with others since “no can tell what type of impact we make on another's life.” Though, this is just a fictional story but I guess this is happening in a real life setting.

Every time I watched this video, I always remember a student who gave me a christmas present of a slightly used pooh with 3 marbles inside of it and I don't care if it was slightly used what matter most was the student remembered me.

So inspiring to view!

A Wonderful Story

I was so moved and touched when I saw this story played by the priest during his homily.

The story showed a jam-packed life's lesson of Sacrifice, Unselfish Love, Heroism and A New Beginning.

It’s a reminder for me how God loves us to the point that He sacrificed his only Son just to save the mankind despite of all the sins we did.

It's worth viewing!

College Days or High School Days?

As I was compiling all the pictures that I had when I was in college, I had a chance to reminisce all the memories that I had either good or bad but not so much on the bad side. I could say that even though I had gone through so many difficulties but still I was happy to think it over.

These were the happy memories that I had. No social climber among my classmates as well to my teachers. Teachers treated each student fairly. Competition was there but everybody was a good player. No discrimination between rich and not so well- off.

These experiences that I had taught me so well and made me say that College Days was the Best and Worth Remembering.

Sacrifice

I was a bit hit as what the priest said that people nowadays don’t want to sacrifice. Some just want an easy life, searching for fun as well as night life. This is the reason why that if problems pop up then most people prefer to run away rather than facing them and solving it. Somehow, the priest has a good point and that reminds me to do a little sacrifice in life.
